Wells Fargo is seeking a dynamic Senior Analytics Manager to join our Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) Front Line Monitoring team.
The Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) Front Line Monitoring (FLM) team is responsible for monitoring regulatory and operational risk activities within Consumer and Small Business Banking. Within the FLM team, the FLM Decision Support Team is responsible for supporting risk related analytics and short-term risk reporting needs for key activities such as, Pre-Issue Discovery, Issue Sizing, Interim CA Reporting, Risk and Control Analysis within Product/Processes, Redress or Non-Financial Remediation. The manager will coordinate intake, priority, execution and delivery within his team while providing expertise to upskill the team.

In this role, you will:
- Build a high performing team of consultants by leading globally diverse employees through critical deliverables with a continuous focus on project prioritization and resource optimization, while also focusing on attracting, developing and retaining top talent.
- Partner closely with leaders to identify and optimize the ongoing risk analysis and reporting necessary to support front line accountability for sales practices and other key risk issues.
- Leverage data and analytics to inform and influence line of business strategic planning team in long term plan development around sales supervision.
- Work closely with product/process team owners, issue remediation, control partners and risk leaders to define problem statements and deliver actionable reporting
- Establish effective work streams that allow the team to support discovery and ad hoc requests in a responsive yet governed manner
- Engage and develop partnerships with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity (Nexus, BMG, BICC, etc.)
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.
- 6+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 3+ years of management experience
- 6+ years of SQL or SAS experience
- Experience manipulating large datasets
- Experience working with data and analytics in relation to financial service industry
- Experience identifying disparate data sources across the organization with the ability to build familiarly quickly
- Direct experience managing team of data consultant/analysts that produce high quality, and compliant results
- Experience working closely with product/process team owners, issue remediation, control partners and risk leaders to define problem statements, gather information, identify source data, validate findings and provide recommendations for reporting
- Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Experience successfully developing actionable data analytics and data strategies to inform, influence, and drive business outcomes
- Articulate and possess strong data analytic experience and have strong interpersonal effectiveness with the ability to translate complex analytics in to easily understood insights and summarizing or presenting to various levels of management
- Experience providing "credible challenge" to business partners, when necessary, with the ability to lead through influence in a matrix environment
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business, social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis.
- Proficient skills in BI Tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Splunk, Grafana
- Up to 5% travel
