Beyond our Psychiatry and Wellness Center, we also proudly serve teens onsite at BasePoint Academy. A teen outpatient program specifically designed to address the unique challenges that teens face today in mental health and substance use. BasePoint Academy’s dynamic program was created with today’s adolescent experience in mind.

Located in Collin County, our McKinney location is conveniently located 31 minutes from downtown Dallas. Our McKinney facility primarily serves the northern DFW suburbs.

The Assistant Clinical Director is responsible for planning and coordinating all clinical services for BasePoint Academy. The major responsibilities include the supervision of all service staff to include therapists, education counselors, graduate student interns, transportation, front office professionals, program specialists, and coordination with nursing/medical services.

The Assistant Clinical Director will assist the Clinical Director indeveloping, implementing, and overseeing programs at BasePoint Academy. This includes requirements for patient program participation, how programs are structured, and ensuring clinical notes meet established standards.

Additional responsibilities include crisis intervention, referral of clients, court appearances, when necessary, maintaining of licensure, participation in professional organizations, insurance credentialing, attending development in accordance with BasePoint, and any other state and/or federally mandated requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Support and supervise clinicians so that they can provide the highest level of care possible
  • Manage a small caseload when/if needed to help support the growing needs of the clinic
  • In coordination with the Clinical Director, develops, implements, and continually evaluates policies,procedures, and programs
  • Ensure ethical, legal, and organizational standards are upheld
  • In coordination with the Clinical Director, be responsible for budget and resource planning
  • Recruit employees and help market the services provided
  • Educate community on services provided
  • Coordinate challenging cases
  • Create and manage employee schedules
  • Ensure proper staffing
  • Orient and train new staff on the rules and procedures in place and expected to be followed
  • Evaluate clinicians and implement plans to improve growth
  • Ensure proper documentation of services provided to clients
  • Coordinate crisis intervention services to clients to ensure risk levels are properly managed and, when appropriate, triaged to higher level of care
  • Perform other duties as needed to support BasePoint initiatives.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8am-5pm)

Attributes

  • Master’s degree in counseling or equivalent master’s degree in a mental health field
  • Current TX license as a LPC, LCSW, LMSW or LPC-A (under supervision) or other equivalent board-certified mental health licensure
  • Current membership in a professional organization
  • Experience with billing insurance
  • Worked or is currently working as a clinician for 5+ years
  • Has experience supervising interns
  • Able to problem solve and think critically
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Comfortable with PC and charting electronically

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
