Business Analyst Job at GenTech Associates
We are seeking a Software Business Analyst to help develop a web application supporting the Department of Education using Agile Methodologies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with Requirement Analysis, Functional Design and Testing documentation for all systems, Processes, Data flows, and Services impacted by the project
- Collect, analyze, and document business requirements
- Create the Functional and Architecture requirements, End to end testing, Bug tracking, and Coordination/Communication skills with state agency stakeholders, and team members
- Work closely with business users and the development teams to analyze business requirements, document requirements, and provide feedback on the actual system implementation of the business logic
- Setup the Agile sprint processes for this project and run the Agile sprint meetings
- Support the development team on the project by providing requirements clarification, removing roadblocks in the development process
Skills & Requirements:
- Relevant IT system integration experience is needed
- Exposure to Complex IT web Applications
- Experience in a role, as a business analyst, supporting a software development project
- Ability to conduct meetings, communicate at a level appropriate to the audience, make oral and written reports and presentations
- Experience in a professional office environment
- Proficiency with MS Office and Visio
- Experience working as a liaison between the development team and project manager or business client in a software development project
- Knowledge and understanding of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)
- Project management skills and knowledge in project management and related methodologies
- Knowledge of Cloud based IT solution (Azure, AWS) and API services
