Jamil Packaging Corporation in Gallatin, TN currently seeks: CDL-A Licensed day driver to travel both locally and regionally, approximately 300-mile radius of our Gallatin, TN facility. Drivers are provided consistent hours, our freight is 'no-touch', you are off weekends and home every night, and all drivers are furnished with a fuel card. Jamil Packaging trucks are automatic and reliable. Note: May give preference to any applicant flexible to work as a hybrid... both as a driver as well as in production, in peak operation times, or with lower delivery needs. Willing to train the right individual in production.

Required Skills/Abilities:

*Must possess valid CDL-A Driver License and be registered in the Clearinghouse
*Must meet all requirements of DOT, Compliance and Jamil Packaging for drivers
*Must be familiar and conscientious to all safety protocols for OTR drivers
*Must be a team player, ready and willing to assist where and when needed
*Must possess effective verbal communication skills with our internal and external customers
*Must be flexibility in hours when staffing shortages occur or peak periods. At times, overtime hours may apply
*Must ensure responsibilities are handled effectively and accurately
*Must possess strong time-management skills for efficiencies and meet assignment/delivery deadlines.

Education and Experience:

*High school diploma or equivalent preferred
*Experience operating tractor/trailer required
