DDHQ Corporate Trainer
The Corporate Trainer role provides support for the overall training function of Duck Donuts operations. This role is responsible for initiating and conducting training programs that are current with industry trends, that set the standards and expectations of the brand; as well as, supports owners, management and team members alike, before and after opening a Duck
Donuts location. The person in this role is responsible for attending shop openings, facilitating several aspects of the Duck Donuts University program and subsequent trainings, works closely with the corporate shop(s) and other various cross functional tasks and responsibilities related to training and operations.
Job Functions
- Implements and executes companywide programs that standardize training for future franchisees
- Works closely with franchise owners prior to opening and helps to create training plans and schedules for the week leading up to opening
- Acts as a training lead for any on-site training initiatives; while supporting owners with any additional needs
- Develops and administers new training programs for in store team members; while providing support in the roll out process
- Assists stores with any on-going training post opening
- Evaluates and analyzes results from store opening surveys and lessons learned notes
- Continues to evaluate trends in training in the hospitality industry and applies them to the brand
- Assists the corporate shops in upholding brand standards and operating under the current policy and protocols that is expected of a Duck Donuts location
Assists in trainings and presentations at annual corporate training seminars and meetings * Liaison for creating any corporate training communication such as documents, videos, content and newsletters to ensure the brand is current with industry training trends
- Assists in any support with day-to-day operational projects
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in related field or industry experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- 2-3+ years’ experience in customer service and or hospitality field
- Must possess strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Travel expected 75% of the year based on business needs
- Office hours 70%- hour may vary based on initiatives and projects set by the operations team
- Corporate Shop Hours 30%- hours may vary based on volume of shops openings
Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities
Servsafe certification is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
