Data Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

De La Rosa Law, currently has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Data Analyst available in our Miami office, located in Coral Gables, FL. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct analyses to drive valuable business insights, using internal analytics tools and SQL to access and manipulate multivariate data
• Demonstrate growth of learning and strong knowledge base to coordinate and assist between multiple business departments
• Build data visualizations and multi-faceted dashboards that convey key performance metrics, significant trends, and relationships across multiple data sources within the content domain
• Ideate and develop new metrics and analytical approaches, measuring content performance for both tactical and strategic decision-making
• Take projects and requests from end-to-end, defining business needs, developing strategies, and socializing insights to the business
• Effectively communicate results through compelling data storytelling across the organization
• Provide ad-hoc analysis support to identify trends that drive business performance
• Analysis of information using multiple platforms in conjunction with one another
• Accurate data entry, tracking, and resolution to enable technician work order completion and fulfillment of orders
• Responsible for meeting company standards regarding completion, quality of work performed, performance metrics, and handle time on an ongoing basis
• Responsible for accurate tracking of information using Microsoft Office Suite related to Field Operations role requirements
• Development of applications via Microsoft Office Power Suite

Skills & Competencies:

• Must posses advanced computer skill sets, including data entry.
• Must have strong organization, administrative and communication skills
• English is required (both written and verbal); Spanish is a plus.
• Previous work experience in analytics and/or business intelligence
• Strong analytical skills – with a proficient ability to read/write complex SQL queries to analyze data
• Experience with data visualization tools coupled with strong storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience taking vague requirements and manipulating them into polished final products
• Strong and effective communication and presentation skills
• Experience in statistical analysis tools like R or Python
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and design
• Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Power App Suite
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple requests at one time providing accurate and timely information
• Extensive knowledge of PC software applications with the ability to compare and verify information between different applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills necessary to generate effective responses to Field Operations with appropriate information
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to work as a productive member of a team and work effectively in a fast-paced, changing entrepreneurial work environment
• Exemplary time management skills
• Ability to utilize judgement and make independent decisions with company goals at the forefront of focus
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, evenings, and holidays to support Field Operations. Must be able to accept assignments based on the needs of the business
• Ability to work well under pressure while performing multiple tasks
• Must be a critical thinker, dependable, able to work at a fast pace, and a team player
• Full time position (40 hours per week, 9am - 5pm) with flexibility for overtime required

Qualifications & Prior Experience:

• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree is required, business preferred
• Master’s Degree is preferred
• Work experience is a must
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook 2010; Windows 10 preferred) required
