What you’ll do:
We are seeking a self-motivated, detail oriented, caring and compassionate individual to be our Orthodontist’s right hand! As an orthodontic assistant you will be a key member of our clinical team, responsible for providing all aspects of clinical patient care in a professional, efficient and caring manner.
Responsibilities
- Greet, escort and sit patients for Orthodontic appointment
- Educate patients on their treatment plans as well as maintaining their oral health
- Take digital radiography and digital scans
- Assist Orthodontist in management of emergencies
- Clean and set up rooms for next patient
- Perform expanded functions and other task as assigned by the Doctor
- Complete proper sterilization, biohazard and infection control
- Prepare patient records (pictures, x-rays and study models)
- Stock supplies and maintain dental equipment to meet practice and manufacturer guidelines
- Manage patient flow
