As a Fleet Services Process, you will utilize research and analytical skills to monitor department processing accuracy in cash application and correct exceptions identified in a timely manner.

This associate is responsible for daily audit of all deletion batches and deposits to reconcile automated data products to resolve irregularities and remove obstacles to successful completion of the deletion process. Extensive research and reconciliation of open cash to ensure accurate financial transactions occur, and to keep Open Cash (money received and not yet assigned to a sold unit) to an absolute minimum. Respond to inquiries and mandates from Avis WHQ to initiate appropriate action required to maintain the Open Cash data correctly. Maintain Access database to ensure proper storage and archiving of deletion data on sold vehicles. Collect and provide documentation for Sale and/or Title Audits for Outside Auditors and Internal Auditors to meet financial mandates from Avis WHQ. This associate must be reliable and dependable to accomplish all tasks accurately for use by internal and external customers who may use these products for decision making with potential financial impact. Perform other administrative duties as required.


What you'll do:

  • Daily audit of all deletion batches and deposits.
  • Research and resolve Open Cash suspense items
  • Report to accounting on open cash items for accounting close (Day 1)
  • Collect and provide documentation for internal and external Sale and/or Title Audits
  • Maintain and backup department database
  • Provide backup for other team members tasks as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned (administrative support and special projects for Director, Manager and Supervisor)

What we are looking for:

  • Completion of college or technical school level computer skill courses a plus.
  • Administrative experience working in a team environment is required.
  • Excellent analytical skills required, as well as a detail-oriented approach to daily responsibilities.
  • Time management, multi-tasking, and ability to prioritize assignments are a must.
  • Excellent customer service skills also required to effectively and professionally communicate with internal and external customers routinely.
  • 1 – 2 years reconcilement experience required.
