Summit Technologies, Inc. has a potential opportunity for a Graphic Designer. You will design products using a variety of mediums. This is a full-time role located onsite at Fort Sam Houston, TX. Any individual hired will need to comply with all onboarding and annual training requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design products using a variety of mediums including video, print, broadcast, teleconferencing, and electronic means.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to support the established quality assurance process for materials.
  • Remain current on emerging technologies that have potential value for materials through team communication, presentations, training sessions, conferences, and publications.
  • Integrate Section 508 standards (re: visuals, color, etc.) in materials.
  • Manage timeline and deliverables to meet deadlines and complete projects.
  • Participate in other duties such as special projects and professional development initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 3 or more years of experience.
  • Experience with all multi-media devices.
  • Experience with original illustrations, using stock photos and clip art.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Knowledge and application of best practices for the effective use of a range of digital tools to support learning and communication through visual and multimedia tools.
  • Prior experience using graphic authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, etc.).
  • Knowledge and experience in the development of educational visuals for learning materials.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing demands to meet established timelines.
Education/Certification:
  • Associates degree or a technical certificate.
