Create and provide detailed tolerance drawings using 2D and 3D CAD software.
Make engineering design changes to existing standard product drawings as required.
Establish new product bills of materials.
Discusses design specifications with engineers to establish component tolerancing.
Use machine tool programming language to manufacture components i.e., G-code and Laser nesting software.
Work effectively with different functional areas i.e., engineering, sales, and manufacturing.
Maintain the latest knowledge of computer aided design software.
Associate or bachelor"s degree in an engineering discipline preferred.
2-year CAD certificate from Technical College or equivalent documented experience.
2 or more years of AutoCAD drafting experience (SolidWorks ability a plus).
Experience with CNC programming and/or nesting software for Laser cutting metal working machinery.
Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office.
Ability to read engineering, architectural, and mechanical drawings.
Abilty to revise engineering drawings based on requirements or engineering department instructions.
Ability to create detailed shop drawings for fabrication of part and assemblies.
