Caddis Capital Management is the management company for Alpine Home Medical, Copper Star Home Medical Supplies and You Can Home Medical. We have been in business over 26-years and are based in Draper, Utah. We provide support to over 230 employees in Utah, Colorado, Arizona and Idaho.
We are currently seeking Medical Claims/Validation Specialists who will be responsible for billing insurance claims to patient’s insurance companies, following up on Accounts Receivable and coordinating collections on unpaid claims, as well as answering billing inquiries and assisting patients on their accounts as necessary. This position will rely heavily on exceptional customer service skills and knowledge of third-party medical insurance reimbursement requirements.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Processing claims for payments from all payment sources.
- Following-up on claim denials, requests for additional information, and non-payment in a timely manner.
- Working aging accounts as determined by the Accounts Receivable Manager.
- Handling customer and 3rd party payers concerns related to billing, while maintaining confidentiality and excellent customer service.
- Obtaining and analyzing reports for A/R aging, as required by the Accounts Receivable Manager.
- Assisting with developing and updating policies and procedures for efficient claims processing and increased productivity of billing department.
- Having for working knowledge of computer applications as it pertains to billing functions of the organization.
- Maintaining customer billing information through date change forms, note documentation, and claims management notes.
- Attending department meetings and other workshops to stay current with job responsibilities.
- Maintaining a working knowledge of computer applications as it pertains to billing functions of the organization.
- Maintaining working knowledge of reimbursement issues of equipment and supplies for third-parry payment, such as pricing, codes, denial and resubmission criteria, and medical reviews.
- Performing any other duties as deemed appropriate by management.

- Ability to handle heavy-phone traffic and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with insurance rules and regulations.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
What We’d Also Like to See:
While not required, some big marks in your favor would include: prior experience with medical insurance providers, any previous HME experience, an Associate’s degree, and bilingual skills (Spanish/English). Candidates with any previous medical insurance billing experience or any billing systems are highly encouraged to apply.
