"The South Portland School Department is seeking a dynamic, experienced educator to become our Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Coordinator at South Portland High School. The MTSS Coordinator works collaboratively with administrators, student support staff, and other school staff to design and lead the implementation of a robust system of support to ensure academic, social, and emotional success for every SPHS students. The MTSS Coordinator is specifically tasked with designing and monitoring our school-wide data management system, structuring and conducting student support meetings, coordinating interventions, ensuring implementation fidelity of support plans, coordinating testing administration, and conducting student placement for intervention classes. The ideal candidate will have a systems mindset, experience developing and managing Tier 2 and 3 systems of support at the high school level, an unrelenting drive to help students succeed, and a successful track record of coaching teachers to differentiate and reach all learners.

We are looking for an educator who understands and appreciates the challenges of working with adolescents, has experience with and desires to work in a school with students from very diverse backgrounds, and who can build meaningful relationships with adults.
