Paraeducator Job at Caledonia Central Supervisory Union
Caledonia Central Supervisory Union has an opening for a paraprofessional to work with a high school student at the St. Johnsbury Academy. The position is for next school year August 2023 through June 2024. There are 178 work days in the school year including in-service training days.
It is a 7.5 hour work day including a paid lunch break.The right candidate will assist in creating an exciting, educational, and fun learning environment and work with a single student directly. It requires working with a student one-on-one that has an IEP and assisting the high schooler to achieve their goals and keep the student focused and learning. The right candidate needs to have a passion for education and enjoy working with a high school age student.Associates Degree is preferred but a high school diploma and Parapro Assessment is also acceptable.The position follows the Union Agreement for benefits and hourly wages which includes paid holidays, 15 sick days, 4 personal days, professional development days, college tuition reimbursement, free dental coverage, free life insurance plan, and health insurance. The position follows the CCEA Collective Bargaining Agreement which can be found at: www.ccsuvt.net under the human resource tab.
