EaDo Bike Co in Houston, TX is looking for part-time professional bicycle service technicians to join our growing team. We are located at 912 Saint Charles St in the thriving neighborhood East Downtown. Our ideal candidate is customer service-oriented, organized, detailed, and reliable. Weekend availability is ideal

Responsibilities

*Diagnosing and servicing non-motorized bicycles and e-bikes for novice to advanced service needs *Customer communications; keeping a positive, consistent, and detail-orientated rapport with customers and clients *Keeping organized and detailed documentation of service activity *Providing support for inventory management in all service-related areas *Sales - bikes, accessories, and service *Continued education in a quickly evolving and technology-driven cycling industry *Acting as a representative of EaDo Bike Co at social and cycling events and activities *Acting as steward to the East Downtown neighborhood, the City of Houston, and the cycling community as a whole

Qualifications - Requirements

*Must be available to work at least one shift every weekend *Minimum of 3 full-time years or 5+ part-time years as a bicycle service technician in a professional work environment *Minimum of 3 years of retail customer service or sales experience *Proficient in working with modern bicycle components; i.e. bleeding hydraulic brakes, suspension service, and e-bike & electronic shifting diagnostics *Proficient in using Microsoft and Google software for documentation, as an information resource, and for communication *Self-motivated *Self-sufficient *Efficient time management *Team worker *Organized and clean *Excellent at communicating

Qualifications - Nice to Haves

*5+ years of retail *Bicycle mechanic certification(s), i.e. UBI, PBMA, BBI *Experience with Lightspeed or other cloud-based POS service management software
