Ashworth Awards has a new opportunity for a Powder Coating Supervisor in a state-of-the-art powder coating facility. We are looking for an individual with the capability to help finalize our powder coating procedure and promote its success. Favorable candidates have supervisory experience and 5+ years of powder coating experience with a global perspective on the process. Powder coating experience required.

We are looking for an individual who is excited for opportunity and can translate their powder coating knowledge towards our unique process and product.

The Powder Coating Supervisor will be responsible for tasks including but not limited to:

• Plan, develop, and produce a quality powder coated end product.
• Work with the Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to design a productive and efficient powder coating unit.
• Work with the operations team to ensure a smooth transition of parts from one department to another, and through the powder coating unit.
• Train staff members on powder coating processes and alter/develop processes as needed.
• Work with print team supervisors and tech leads to ensure smooth production and a collaborative team effort within the powder coat and print unit.
• Supervise equipment, production workers, and process to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Accomplishes results by communicating and overseeing job expectations, monitoring job results, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures as necessary. Work with the Operations Manager to ensure they are meeting company and department goals for production and quality within their results.
• Maintains work flow through observation of control points and equipment, monitoring of personnel, implementation of cost reductions, facilitation of corrections to malfunctions, and other means and methods as necessary.
• Monitors operating supplies including - but not limited to - abrasive material, powder, and value stems to maintain key inventory levels. Provides daily production count to the operations team. Work with Purchasing and Operations Manager to ensure proper stock and parts for equipment maintenance.
• Responsible for preparation work, maintenance of, and application of powder coat. Participates in and leads the powder coating process from start to finish.

The position runs on a daily, 8 hour shift Monday-Friday. It is a first shift, day-time position.

PLEASE NOTE: Ashworth Awards has 2 Buildings- The Powder Coat location, and our main office at 41 Richards Ave. North Attleboro, MA. All interviews occur at the main location.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
