MTC is proud to operate the Graceville Correctional Facility in Graceville, Fl., where our employees strive to improve the lives of those in our care through robust educational programming, clinical care, and other resources.
MTC and the Graceville Correctional Facility are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team.
Employment type: PRN
Shift: 7am - 7pm or 7pm-7am
Pay: $34 hourly
A few of your primary duties include:
- Attend sick call with the physicians to see detainees; prepare examining room and equipment.
- Call the physician for medication and treatment orders and other emergencies.
- Operate pill call, administer medication and accurately and completely document treatment as required by applicable policies and procedures.
- Closely monitor all potential catastrophic illnesses.
- Provide health counseling and health education on individual or group basis, as required.
- Assessments and treatment per protocol
- Timely and accurate documentation
- Autonomy and critical thinking
Education & Experience Requirements: Degree in nursing, current, valid nursing license for the state of Florida or a compact state. Must possess current CPR certification. Valid driver's license in the state of Florida with an acceptable driving record required,
