Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Maine. The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining compliance with Maine state and federal regulations, and ensuring a positive in-store experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, an understanding of the cannabis industry, and a commitment to promoting accessibility and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:

· Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations governing the sale of cannabis, including Maine's Office of Cannabis Policy (OCP) regulations, including but not limited to holding and maintaining a valid Individual Identification Card issued by the OCP.

· Assist customers by answering questions, making product recommendations, and providing information on various cannabis products.

· Verify customer identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions and prevent the sale of cannabis to minors.

· Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and other forms of payment.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment, adhering to company policies and promoting a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

· Participate in ongoing training and education to stay informed about cannabis industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory changes in the state of Maine.

· Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and conducting regular inventory audits.

· Follow store policies and procedures to maintain a high level of customer service, professionalism, and compliance with state and federal laws.

· Collaborate with store management and other team members to achieve store goals and provide a seamless customer experience.

· Operate and have a high understanding of our third-party software, and in connection, METRC.

· Act as an ambassador for the WildFire Retail, LLC brand, maintaining a positive attitude and fostering a welcoming environment for all customers, regardless of their level of experience with cannabis products.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a relevant field is a plus.

· Must be at least 21 years of age, in compliance with Maine state regulations.

· Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.

· Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods is a plus.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

· Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, as required by the State of Maine.

· Must be vaccinated for covid-19 and have a vaccination card.
