Surgery Center Administrator Job at Children's Dental Surgery
Compensation: $105,000/ year
Children's Dental Surgery, located in Bethlehem, PA, has an immediate opportunity available for a Surgery Center Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our pediatric surgery center. We are seeking a leader that possesses the natural desire to make a difference in the lives of others each day.
As the Surgery Center Administrator, you will be instrumental in leading a talented team to provide exceptional service to our patients. Through thoughtful leadership, you will ensure the surgery center is meeting its primary goal of managing the center to operate with efficiency and customer focus.

Work Schedule: M-F 6:30 am - 4:00 pm
What You Will Do:
- Administrative policies, procedures, and controls shall be established, documented, and implemented to assure orderly and efficient management of the surgery center.
- Ensure the Director of Nursing is directing and supervising nursing and ancillary personnel in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating patient care in the operating room according to accepted standards.
- Participate in recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and hiring of all staff.
- Evaluate employee skills, needs, and desires and plan their development.
- Provide orientation and ongoing education and training tailored to employee needs.
- Foster teamwork and learning by collaborating with others in their professional development
- Collaborate with the VP of Surgical Operations and the CAO to make recommendations regarding capital budgets.
- Maintain an open line of communication with the VP of Surgical Operations, CAO, Medical Director, Board President, physicians, and employees.
- Prepare agenda items and meeting minutes for all required monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings
What You Will Need
- Degree from an approved school of nursing
- PA RN license
- Demonstrated ability to function in a leadership position and to perform in new and emergent situations with sound judgment.
- Demonstrated analytical, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- BLS required. ACLS/PALS preferred
- At least 3-5 years of nursing supervision/management experience. Previous ASC/surgery experience preferred.
- Pediatric experience a plus
- Previous OR/PACU or similar experience a plus
