Teacher, Religion Job at The Archdiocese of Baltimore
Mother Mary Lang Catholic School, located in downtown Baltimore, is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and experienced Religion teacher who exhibits a passion for working with children. The successful applicant should demonstrate knowledge and communication of subject matter competency to elementary aged students.
Job Responsibilities:
- Follows the AOB curriculum and best practices in development of daily instructional plan
- Use effective instructional methods/models according to professional standard practice
- Use varied assessment tools to perform both formative and summative assessments by demonstrating a willingness to respond to individual learning needs.
- Communicates effectively with students, parents and administration in all matters related school
- Practice positive, consistent discipline in the management of the classroom.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Theology etc.
- Must be an active practicing Catholic
- Willing to obtain AOB certification in Religion
- Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school
- Must be comfortable with technology integration utilizing Chromebooks and G-Suite applications
- Employment is contingent upon acceptable results of a state and federal background check, completion of VIRTUS Training, and completion of all necessary paperwork.
