GENERAL PURPOSE:This position is responsible for setup, maintenance, and diagnostics of the Transportation Management Systems (TMS). This is inclusive of the setup of initial configuration, maintenance of configurations, data loading, user acceptance testing/coordination and troubleshooting of the TMS system to support current and future business requirements. This position will also support maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures and development of cross functional reporting to ensure cost controls and performance management activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage, analyze and resolve complex problems in (TMS). Provide technical expertise and apply corrections to optimize and maintain integrity of (TMS) and related Standard Operating Procedures.
- Diagnose system issues and test software and interfaces. Prepare, extract and analyze transportation system data as needed for process improvement initiatives and troubleshooting system issues.
- Lead internal functional TMS help desk support for Transportation. Partner with IT resources for system changes, upgrades, and system outages as well as communication for operational availability.
- Responsible for system security control, risk assessment, collaborative mitigation assessment and communications as it relates to Transportation Systems. Create and maintain internal and external user roles.
- Identify, develop and implement opportunities impacting performance metrics, efficiencies, costs and controls of the Logistics Supply Chain. Train carriers and internal users on processes changes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Four-year degree in Transportation or equivalent field required
- 2-4 years of progressive supply chain experience preferred
- Technical experience with Transportation Management Systems required including set up, data loading and configuration of TMS, to include comprehensive knowledge of carrier rate structure and ability to integrate into TMS System.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to effectively lead meetings, conference calls, drive communications with internal and external constituents, and builds consensus to collaboratively deliver objectives.
- Ability to configure business rules into systematic planning parameters enabling freight optimization.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact at all organizational levels including exempt associates, operations supervisors, and executive level management.
- Demonstrated ability to think in terms of process flow and identification of component operations and interrelationships.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and technical writing skills.
- Experience in using PCs in a professional setting - developing reports and presentation using standard applications such as spreadsheets, databases, and word processing
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:
No unusual physical requirements. Requires no heavy lifting, and nearly all work is performed in a comfortable indoor facility.

Job frequently requires sitting, handling objects with hands.
Job occasionally requires standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. This position requires the ability to use a computer, work as part of a team, and the ability to communicate with team members and others. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work. #LI-Hybrid
