Moxie Pest Control is the fastest growing pest control company in the industry. We’ve been in business for 20 yrs, but still move like a start-up. We are looking to grow our team to meet the demands of a growing company that is doubling its sales year-over-year.

Job Overview: We are looking for an organized and creative videographer to work with our creative team to film video content across all parts of our company. The videographer's responsibilities include ensuring that the necessary filming equipment is available for use, directing and operating cameras on set, coordinating with manager and other stakeholders for each project, and editing film footage and photos as needed. To be successful as a videographer you must be able to understand project briefs and work creatively to produce the desired product. This position requires someone that can work in a fast-paced start-up environment with little direction. Pro-actively finding solutions to problems is key to success in this role. No day will be the same in this role.

Videographer Responsibilities:

  • Film videos on set or on location
  • Ensure that equipment for a shoot is present and working
  • Plan the shoot with the creative team and the client
  • Edit footage in post-production as needed/required
  • Ensure the needed footage is acquired
  • Meet with manager to establish the desired feel and look for the video to be created
  • Manage the storage of all footage acquired
  • Operate computer editing systems and equipment used for video media and effects
  • Improve video and sound quality while filming
  • Assist in editing video process including music selection, sound clips and other important aspects of the project
  • Ensure the correct formatting and presentation while filming
  • Ability to identify and anticipate the shots needed on the fly while shooting
  • Travel up to 50% of the time
  • Back up to editing projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Excellent computer literacy.
  • Proficiency with editing software such as PhotoShop.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Relative fitness and stamina to work long hours.
  • Proficiency with camera equipment.
  • Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
  • Creative experience in filmmaking and videography
  • Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when filming
  • Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions
  • Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned filming for video projects
  • Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation
  • Ability to collaborate well with other creative professionals to create top-notch finalized products

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
