- Accurately pick and label merchandise from primary pick locations in the correct units of measure.
- Identify correct merchandise and account for any damage.
- Prepare orders for transport to customer.
- Safely operate industrial equipment within proper training guidelines.
- Willingly take direction from Supervisor.
- Performs other tasks and duties as assigned.
- Be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing to comply with all safety policies and practices.
- Excellent attendance record
- Willingness and ability to work overtime when needed
- Good comprehension and math skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management
- Attention to detail essential and demonstrated problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain records accurately
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlines
- Be a team player with a "can do" attitude
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Power Equipment certification or other warehouse experience preferred
- High School diploma preferred
