Your Mission, as a Maintenance Technician: To provide an excellent resident experience by maintaining all aspects of the property.

As a Maintenance Technician of Hillcrest Village, you will be responsible for providing a great resident experience by keeping the systems and grounds well-kept and maintained for our residents' enjoyment. You will be responsible for maintenance of pools, landscaping, grounds, exercise equipment, appliances, heating and cooling system, overhead doors, and lighting (just to name a few). Furthermore, individual apartments will need repairs, painting, and cleaning between tenants and during residency. You will be responsible for ensuring the the property shines.

The Characteristics We Hope You Have:
  • Experience in maintenance (or maintenance-related) field.
  • Advanced repair knowledge in areas such as appliances, sheet-rock repair, painting, glass repair, pool maintenance, boilers maintenance, and general handyman repair skills.
  • Friendly, considerate, and bright demeanor.
  • Clean driving record & means of transportation.
  • Detail-orientation: An understanding of what dirty, broken, and damaged looks like.

A Day in Your Life as a Maintenance Tech:

As a Maintenance Tech at Hillcrest Village, you play a vital role in ensuring our properties are well-maintained, safe, and comfortable for our residents. Your day begins with checking your work orders and responding to maintenance requests from tenants. You conduct routine maintenance and repairs, such as fixing leaky faucets, changing light bulbs, and painting walls. You also troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues, ensuring that our units are in good working order.

As you work, you maintain open communication with your team and the property manager, updating them on your progress and any issues that arise. You collaborate with the team to schedule and prioritize maintenance work, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget. Your attention to detail ensures that our properties are always in top-notch condition, and you take pride in the quality of your work.

Throughout the day, you interact with our residents, building positive relationships with them and addressing their concerns and questions. Your friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills help you build trust and ensure their satisfaction with our properties.

At the end of the day, you update your work orders and inventory, ensuring that you have all the tools and supplies you need for the next day. You take pride in knowing that you have made a positive impact on our properties and our residents' lives.
Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
