REGISTERED NURSE (RN)-OR/PACU (Per Diem) Job at Ohio Reproductive Medicine
Ohio Reproductive Medicine currently has 1 Per Diem OR/PACU Registered Nurse Position, available at our Surgical Center located in Columbus.
Job Summary:
The Surgery Center Registered Nurse is responsible for providing individualized nursing care to ORM surgical patients. The Registered Nurse must demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge in the care of patients undergoing day surgery with monitored anesthesia.
This position reports directly to the Practice Manager and physicians.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Circulate/Recover Egg Retrievals and/or transfers
Prepare Sterile Field
Assist in instrument processing
Provide appropriate, safe nursing care to patients according to standards of AORN
Cross-train to the Pre-Op, Intra-Op and Post-Op roles
Chart Preparation and Reconciliation
Drug Outdates
Restocking
Additional Duties TBD
Job Requirements and Skills:
ASN in nursing, BSN preferred.
Current licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio
BLS required, ACLS preferred
Minimum of two years OR/PACU experience
IVF/GYN experience preferred
Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
Used to working in a fast paced environment
