Our Cutting-Edge, Non-Traditional Tax firm is seeking a Full-Time, EXPERIENCED Tax Manager for the following position:
Responsibilities
- Be able to review and prepare business and personal tax returns for small business clients from initial meeting through delivery and filing of returns
- Manage staff accountants & bookkeepers
- Communicate directly with clients
- Organize and update tax database
- Record tax entries into accounting software
- Understand and apply tax reduction strategies
- Preparation and/or review of financial statements
- Managing progress of various projects and deadlines
- Ensuring projects are completed to a high standard
- Overseeing and assisting with new client onboarding
Requirements
- 3 years of Business & Personal Tax Preparation Experience
- Proven work experience as a Tax Senior/Tax Associate
- Management experience
- Basic knowledge of the tax code for individuals and small business
- Must be a licensed EA or CPA
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- QuickBooks Online & Microsoft Office software proficiency
- Intuit ProSeries tax software experience is a bonus, but is not required
- Computer literacy, numerical skills and attention to detail
Work Location
- Remote (Work from home)
Public accounting and Business Tax Preparation (1065 / 1120 / 1120-S) experience is a MUST. Must have excellent people skills, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. This is a great opportunity to work in an exciting professional environment in a fully remote capacity.
