We are looking for high-energy individuals who are interested in working as a Youth Sports Director helping us maximize the FUN in teaching sports for youth athletes. Doing so in multi-sport programs or single sport programs in soccer, basketball, flag football, baseball, volleyball, track & field, tennis, general strength & conditioning, and even dodgeball with more on the way. This position in primary on the field being the head instructor of many sports programs while being the leader in charge of helping turn those programs into the best the Bay has to offer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our Youth Sports Directors are on the field being the head person in charge of the sports programs put under their control helping athletes
- Focus on developing Skills, Passion, and Confidence. Not winning and losing
- Providing a safe environment where kids of any ability can develop at their own pace
- Using modified equipment and specialized curriculum to teach young athletes skill development through play
- Manage interactive team games that encourage friendly competition and teach sportsmanship and teamwork in a positive environment
- Create a structured environment with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun
The director position is about 85% on the field running their own sports programs created by us, about 5% on the computer doing administrative tasks, and 10% setting up events with the guidance of us which can be done at the comfort of their own home and time.
LOCATIONS:
- Programs run throughout the East Bay, some specific locations we are in now is Antioch, Benecia, Brentwood, Concord, Danville, Lafayette, Martinez, Moraga, Oakley, Orinda, Piedmont, Pleasant Hill, Hayward, Walnut Creek, San Ramon, Pleasanton
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to pass a national background check, TB Test, Covid Vaccination and receive First Aid/CPR Certification.
- Must have regular access to a computer.
- Must have driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Most importantly, applicants must be able to relate well to kids (ages 2-14), share their knowledge and passion for sports, and bring a high-energy “can do” attitude to camp EVERYDAY!
- Must be able bring positive high energy to create a fun environment to play and learn sports
- Must be willing to learn the fundamentals of new sports
- Must be able to adapt to the needs of different types of athletes ( younger vs older, beginner vs advanced)
- Must be able to work well independently and with others.
- Must have leadership qualities.
- Must be flexible.
COACHING SCHEDULE:
- We hire seasonal team members (Summer, Fall only etc) or long-term team members working year-round in a multitude of different schedules.
- Get a schedule that works with you, for full-time, part-time, or weekend staff, around the areas of sports that interest you. We take your availability and preferences into consideration to customize a schedule that works as closely as possible with what you want. If you want full-time hours you must have at least one day of weekend availability.
PROGRAM PAY:
- Program Directors make 20-22$ Hour
- Area Directors make 25$/hour plus commission
- Region Directors make salary PLUS commission (62,500-70k+)
First time directors will work a part time schedule as a Program Director and build their way up to full time Area Directors. Expect the first 2 months to be part time until you're ready for a full time schedule, as we can't start a new person on a full time schedule you need to build your way up

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
